One of the most magical camp sites, with hosts who go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We used the outdoor cinema as well while we were camping and it was such a nice touch. Can't wait to get to go back again.

Just had 3 beautiful nights at Ladybug camping grounds. Started as only 2 but it was just too nice to leave so we booked another night. We stayed in site 6 at the bottom of the valley with an amazing creek babbling past and lovely grassy sites it was like our own little slice of Tassie heaven. The bluestone gravel tracks leading to each site made for super easy access no matter what your mode of transport. We towed our 7m hybrid down into the valley and more so, very easily back out without any problems whatsoever. There were also glamping opportunities we discovered in two funky little caravans whilst walking around this beautiful property! Pete and Kim were super friendly hosts and very helpful in recommending which sites would best suit our needs regarding solar as well as interesting things to look out for like the 4 platypus and rare freshwater crayfish in their creek. Oh and wait till you see their own twin waterfalls ! Wow !! Our highest recommendations and thanks go out to Pete n Kim at Ladybug camping ! Cheers, Ben n Polly from QLD

Ladybug Camping is a very special place to camp. Secluded, pristine and inviting place to visit and relax. I can't recommend this campsite highly enough. Thank you Peter and Kim for making such a heavenly camp set up. 🙏🏻 PS BEST location if there are blustery westerly winds blasting across Tassie! Totally protected.

Such an amazing place! Me and my friend arrived at around 4pm and we didn't know that we had to book online so it was all booked. The manager let us stay either way since we had a rooftop tent and we wouldn't take up too much space. We even got the welcome gift as well! It was a public holiday that weekend so he really helped us out. We walked around the camping grouds, and it was just beautiful. Right in the middle of nature, and there was a little waterfall as well. Would definitely come back here!! (But this time with a booking)

Camped at site 4 One of the best camp sites we've ever stayed at. Beautiful creek front right at our camp and short walk to a waterfall. Spotted a platypus making its way upstream. Absolute best time.

Have camped in all Australian States and Territories. Our Site number 4 has been our favourite campsite. (Other sites here also look welcoming) Extremely spacious, private, friendly and informative host, beautiful creek with water cascading over rocks in front of us, lush vegetation in all directions around camp, hammock, fireplace with wood provided, all weather road throughout property and pademelons visited to within a couple of metres. Delightful to discover hundreds of ladybugs attached to trees, table and rocks. Swimming hole and waterfall on property look beautiful. Evident that a lot of thought and effort has been put into developing this Hipcamp. You will be rewarded with a great experience camping here.

Lady Bug Campsites is one of the top camping experiences I've come across in Tassie. Thoughtful set up next to a beautiful creek abundant with wildlife (including platypus!). The outdoor cinema was a touch of luxury. Looking forward to visiting again.

Really loved our time at Ladybug Campground with our dogs. So green and lush with lots of beautiful scenery. Peter and Kim were the perfect hosts. Will stay again!
